New Short Story in Short Story, Long

I have a new short story in Short Story, Long, and I’m excited to share it with you. If you read one story this year about skateboarding, grief and filmmaking, make it this one! “The Filmmaker” is from a collection of stories I worked on while completing my doctorate, and I’m glad to finally get the opportunity to share them. I’m especially happy to land this story with Short Story, Long. I’ve been a fan of Aaron Burch’s stories for a long time now, and I’ve always admired his work as editor with Hobart, Had and now Short Story, Long. It was a thrill to finally work with him on a story for publication. He really helped hone this one into its current version, and I hope you enjoy it! Here’s a link.
